On January 27 Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Australia H.E. Mr Grigory Logvinov met in his residence in Canberra with descendants of famous Russian seascape painter Ivan Aivazovsky – Dr Alexis Andrew Miller, Dr Allison Miller, Dr Louise Celeste Rosetto, Ms Amanda Rogers and Ms Frederika Bastecky. The atmosphere of conversation was warm and friendly. A mutually interested discussion took place, which was focused at the opportunities of promotion of Aivazovsky’s heritage and of popularization of the great painter’s name in Australia. An agreement was reached to enhance cooperation, aimed at organization of cultural and humanitarian projects.
